Weeks 19 and 20

Weeks 19 and 20

**You may be using a lot of drill sheets these two week. Remember:**

- Do not write on the drill sheet (it is meant to be used over and over).
- Check each answer immediately (you don't want to learn to do it wrong - if you make a mistake find out why before going on).

**To Do Monday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 16:**

**Look at the following summary of Final Exam Topics: Algebra One Final Exam Topics.pdf****Decide what grade you wish to aim for. If you currently have a D or an F, you must have minimum Math Journal & Daily Work credit of a C for this semester to aim for an A or B.****Study the appropriate topics in your book if you still have, online, with friends, and especially in class. You will get instruction and good problem review on all topics. Do not miss class!**

**May 17, 2018 (Thursday): TEST**

__.__

**What is expected from you during this time**- Come prepared to do something. You can review for the final. You can study for another exam. You can work quietly on something of your own interests.
__This is not a visiting period -- do not interfere with anyone else who needs to study__.

- If there is another teacher who needs to work work with you, bring a note from that teacher and I will allow you to go to that teacher's class.

**Required Class Materials for the Spring Semester:**

- Spiral-bound full-size notebook dedicated to Algebra One (homework, class notes are to entered in here in order, with dates, page numbers and problem numbers clearly indicated - dates at the top of each page, page numbers in the margin column on the left, problem numbers next to the problem, all key-steps shown as taught in class)

- ruler (inches and mm) at least 6 inches long

These supplies are part of your first homework assignment and must be available by class time Thursday, Jan 4, 2017 AND continue to be available in every math class thereafter for the rest of the semester.

Having these supplies will be part of our contract with you that you will earn at least a 60% toward your final grade if you meet all daily work assignments for the rest of the semester. Please understand that you will receive an F for every time that we check and you do not have these supplies with you.
